About time you put this on here! But when you told me, you didnt say it was a GT!
But what are the differences between that and a normal? Laughing

foglamps
stiffer suspension
stripe down the side (some have scalops)
twin exhaust
um... can't think of anymore right now, but I know there are more.

Maybe when my mom gets home I can use her camera phone to take a video of the exhaust Very Happy . I am not sure if it is an original gt because it does not have the twin exhaust. I'll check the vin number when I go back over to my neighbors house tonight and put it into a decoder.

Not sure on that one. I know they have more leaf springs.

I don't know beacuse he resirected it from a junk yard, but the odometer says 22,000 and if thats true.... HOLY CRAP!

The white walls are all dryrotted right now, so as soon as my dad comes home I'll ask him to do a few, or i might too Razz . Probably first after market part to go on is going to be a twin exhaust.

Keep ANY original part you take off. I dont care if its the rims, a knob on the initerior, etc, keep it. Cept the tires

But the reason is, if in the future you goto sell this, a numbers matching (all original parts) car is worth more than a car with aftermarket parts almost all the time.

Problem is that most of this stuff is not original (cept just found out the engine is) because he resirected it from a junk yard.

Ok guys bad news,

We were driving the mustang today, and we were putting it back in the neighbor's garage (my family's motorcycles are taking up half the grage and the neighbor is out of town) then the powersteering tube broke. Turns out the car did not have original powersteering, and when the guy put it in he did a shoty job and ran it right on the manifold. Ofcourse as soon as this happened the whole front of the mustang burst into flames, but luckly with my quick reaction time and busting into the neighbors house, we put it out pretty quick.

Things that it took that I know of"

Powersteering system: I was thinking about converting it back to manual anyways. It needs a new pump and new lines.

sparkplugs and sparkplug wires: I was going to redo the ignition system anyways.

Still working on the bristol pictures, my dad is a little stressed out right now, and I have a really bad cold today along with football. So right now i fell like crap.

acctually yes Smile

today we took a look at the powersteering and tried to find a new hose. We called mustangs unlimited, napa, year one, and then we finnally found it at a place called MAC'S antique auto parts. Napa acctually had one, but it was a little bit off for somereason.... Oh well, now i am just waiting for this hose before I can run her again...
