Just to let you know, I'm sticking to this one. The others I gave up on because I couldn't get them to fit or I botched the paint. This time, I intend to finish completely.

I won't be able to paint it until spring, or until we clean up all the basement sawdust. This will give me alot of time to think about what I'm going to do.

Enough gibbering, here's the first pic. It's only sitting on the chassis, not even a clip holding it on.

Sorry about the bad pic. At least this one has decent lighting.
Now that I know that it can fit, I'll probably try to make a clip for it so I'll have it ready for when I need it.

I'll update this whenever I make progress.

My camera isn't working, so I'll explain what I've gotten done so far.

To extend the chassis i simply screwed the spacer in with the longest I could. This works pretty good, although it bends the spacer a little bit because I can't put the bottom screws in. Also means the AWD upgrade won't work.

I made a temporary mount in the rear by cutting one of the plastic pieces that helped secure Barricade and Bumblebee in their boxes to the width of the rear end of the car, and wedged it into the evo rear clip. The body only sits on it, but is better than hitting the wheels. I will probably use this to mount it when I'm done, after attaching it to the body.

That was only the rear, and I'm still wondering whether or not I should use a normal from clip or if I should make my own.

Figured I could get the clip going later, and will probably switch over with a tut on xmw.
Just dug the airbrush out of the basement and planning on testing it when it gets clean down there.
